100% free for you. Paid by our partner universities.
We're free because universities pay us when their programs are a good fit for you — the same way a specialist recruiter gets paid by the employer, not the candidate.
What you pay us
There is no consulting fee. No application fee. No filing fee paid to us. No hidden charges at any stage — from Status Review through approval and enrollment.
How we're paid
Partner universities pay us a recruiting fee when a student we work with enrolls. It's the same mechanism a specialist recruiter uses — the employer pays, not the candidate.
Doesn't that compromise your advice?
It's a fair thing to ask. Here's how we keep the incentives aligned with yours:
We disclose which schools are paying partners — every time.
On every program we recommend, we tell you whether it's a paying partner. You see the full picture, not a filtered one.
We maintain a non-paying shortlist too.
If the best fit for your situation is a school that doesn't pay us, we still recommend it. We've done it hundreds of times — ask us to show you.
We only partner with SEVP-certified schools in good standing.
We don't work with schools that have compliance issues — and USCIS or SEVIS sanctions would be a deal-breaker. The fee doesn't tempt us to recommend someone who'll hurt you.
Our approval rate is the scoreboard.
If we routed you into a bad-fit program, your case would get denied, you'd leave a bad review, and schools would stop trusting us. Our 96% approval rate is how we prove the model works.
We'll say no.
If your situation calls for consular processing, a different attorney, or a school we don't partner with — we'll say so. We regularly refer candidates out when they're not a fit for our network.
What you'll actually pay — to the government.
We don't charge you anything. But the U.S. government and your university will charge normal fees for the filings, enrollment, and tuition. We help you plan for all of them and document everything.
| Item | Amount | Paid to |
|---|---|---|
| Noledg Edu service fee | $0 | — (free to students) |
| USCIS Form I-539 (COS) | $470 | USCIS |
| Biometrics (if required) | $85 | USCIS |
| SEVIS I-901 | $350 | ICE |
| DS-160 (consular path) | $185 | U.S. Dept. of State |
| University tuition | Varies by program | Your university |
Government fees are current as of the most recent USCIS and DOS fee schedules and may change without notice.
Tuition varies by school. We help you plan either way.
Every tuition range on our partner list is a legitimate SEVP-certified option. “Higher” doesn't mean “better” — it means different cost structure, different student mix, different outcomes. Our job is to match you to what fits your budget and career plan, not to route you to the most expensive school.
Your target salary on CPT/OPT, your state's cost of living, and your willingness to relocate change the math more than tuition alone. We walk you through this on the Status Review.
The call is free. The whole service is free.
There's genuinely no downside to booking the 20-minute Status Review — whether you end up working with us or not.
